Math Monday: Math Symbol Stones

Last year, I painted some simple Number Stones as math manipulatives.

In order to complete the mornings math assignment, I painted math symbols on the backsides of the five stones.

I set out a similar tray for Ms.O to work through some math equations.

I completely missed the mark. Ms.O was completely bored, knew all the answers long before she strung on the straw beads and upgraded to division with her own project; potion-making!
