Wind-Up Butterflies

Many years ago, I received one of these in a card.

When you wind it up and place it in a book or card, it spins around when set free.
Making one was not very easy, but once you brave the mechanics, it makes sense.
We definitely would have benefited from using extra large paper clips as it was too finicky trying to manipulate the small sort.

We have a small collection of butterflies we have found on the roadside.
These were great inspiration for designing our wings.
