Christmastime: Making the Most

2013's Ornament

Lots of traditions around this time of year, but one we have started with O was to make a Family Ornament of the year. Last year, we created these Fingerprint Snowmen.
We have to brainstorm a few idea's for this year's ornament, since we added a new member of our family!

Decorator

Yesterday, O and I tried a recipe from Nurture Store: cornstarch ornaments.
They require cornstarch and white glue; 2:1 parts respectively.
Since we only had old purple glitter glue, we added a few drops of red food colouring, but the ornaments turned out more pink than red.
I made a few hearts, while O's ornaments evolved from each of our faces, to Popsicle People on toothpicks!
