Hideaway: Before & After

 Old

Tiny homes require careful layout and proper use of space.
We likely could have used this stairway space for stroage, but I was bent on making a special hideaway.
With a little paint and a re-vamp on the floor situation, it is already in way better shape than when we moved in.
Nearly there!

Yesterday we visited the Cambridge Re-Store. We scored with a box of hand-scraped hickory flooring for $25 that just fits the area needed to cover.

Originally we learned about the Re-Store and Habitat For Humanity from my aunt who, years ago, suggested that we visit the location nearest her home. It's a fabulous concept; manufacturers and stores can donate unwanted product or overstock, general public are welcome to shop and a portion of the cost go to building homes in the community. http://www.habitat.ca/en/community/restores
