Letters: ABC's & Snail Mail

Grandma J sent O home with some of those plastic fridge magnets.

O was raring to get her hands on them.

I introduced them with a ball of playdough, similar to the stamping playdough project we did last week http://mamadrool.blogspot.ca/2014/08/alphabet-stamping.html.

We sorted through to discover upper and lower case letters, checked out how lower case 'b', 'd' and 'p' could get confusing. She took an 'm' and turned it into a '3'....and so on!

Baby C's name is so long we had it running right off of the playdough snake!

I spelled out a message for Daddy.
O was distraught that I put spaces between my words and she filled in the gaps!

Then she very purposefully went to work dictating aloud while writing a letter!
