Daily Doodle: Fingerprints & Spider

 Buzz

"If the bee's and the wasp's have a party,
nobody comes that can't buzz"
~A Baby Sister for Frances

Watching O's drawing evolve is one of the things I love most about starting the day with a Daily Doodle.
I was making my own fingerprint tree's with inspiration from the library book we picked up for Baby C called AlphaPrints, using fingerprints to create animals.
O saddled up beside me and was eager to colour her fingertips with markers.
She then proceeded to put stripes, a head, and some strong legs (feet and toes too!) on the bee she developed!

 Alphaprints Owl

Such a simple project that initiates some very creative processes.
I had seen this idea before in a DK crafting book; simple or intense, the results are sweet!

Then came O's Spider.
O starts most drawings with a big, round head from which arms and legs protrude.
Her spider has a giant tuft of fuschia hair and some extra legs!
