Chinese Calligraphy

When I left my three year old with a piece of paper and watercolour paints, she started drawing Chinese characters!

When I came back into the room, I was floored.

They looked so real. 

If I could read characters, I assumed they would mean something.

As it turns out she learned this in Chinese school.

When I looked in her Chinese workbook-there they were, traced by her in pencil!

Today I'm reminded, never underestimate your three year old!
