Daily Doodle: Woolly Bear

 Woolly Bear

I adore Daily Doodle time.
Not because art flows thickly through my blood; my nature depends on it like my body depends on air!
But I thoroughly enjoy watching children create, no holds barred.
It is even more special watching my own children tap their creative energy...and do so with such ease!

Occasionally, I set up Daily Doodle with a 'starter' or theme.http://playfullearning.net/2014/10/daily-draw/
Other days, I simply saddle up to the chalkboard wall and start drawing.
Within seconds, O requests her own piece of chalk.

On this particular morning, I started drawing an owl, completely copied from the amazing story 'Little Owl Lost', by the talented Chris Haughton.http://www.amazon.ca/Little-Owl-Lost-Chris-Haughton/dp/0763650226
O joined in and drew this long-lashed creature, which as she pointed out, is a Woolly Bear caterpillar!

...and a house in the corner!
