Density of Liquids: Oil & Water

A quick morning science experiment involving density of liquids http://buggyandbuddy.com/exploring-density-liquids/  

O always announces she's a scientist (for example, when I ask her why she ripped toilet paper and threw it all over the floor? "It's science Mama!")

It's a good project for budding scientists, being there is not much to it, but it offers a little practice in the Scientific Method http://mamadrool.blogspot.ca/search?q=scientific+method by using prediction and observation.

O was quite happy about there being some colour involved in the process as well!
