Tiny Bubbles

 Bubble Maker

There are countless times I've tried and failed DIY bubble solution.
This time I took the recipe from the Martha Stewart's craft book for kids.
Great success!

We purchased Dawn dish soap ($2.99) and generic corn syrup ($3.99) for a total of $7 that resulted in 15 cups of bubbles!
~4 cups dish soap
~1 cup corn syrup
~10 cups water
Bubbles aren't expensive to buy, but this made a whopping batch that we poured into a cider container.
Hopefully it will last through the winter!

O and I definitely got our hands involved with pouring, mixing and funneling the concoction.
It was a slippery endeavor. As the bubbles and solution hit the floor, Baby C scurried over to lick them!

Straight Up

Then, seeing my hands were tied up for a time, as fast as Baby C's little legs could take her, helped herself to her sister's milk!

EXPAND ON BUBBLE-MAKING
Big & Small. Look around the household for objects that could double as a bubble wand; whisks, string, straws, wire hangers, hula hoops. Martha Stewart's book has a 'straw and string' idea, using two straws with a string pulled through them, to make a square loop.
