When our garden work was complete for the day, three little faces looked so fresh, I couldn't help but ask for portraits. Ms.O is always happy to oblige, Ms. C agreed to one serious one followed by several not-so-serious and MR.A waddled over in line with his biggest smile, ready for his turn!

This is our first year supressing weeds via straw.
We dug our troughs, spread a line of straw along either side and tucked the seeds in the soil.

For anyone who loves gardening or amazing illustrations, this is our seasonal favourite.
