Sci Fri: Erupting Vesuvius
We concluded our studies of Pompeii with our own backyard eruption.

The first task was to create a volcano large enough to house our 'magma' well (plastic bottle)
Next was convincing a volunteer to do the dirty work of pouring vinegar into the bottle of baking soda, since I had to film.
Volunteer got a bit giddy at the thought of what was to come!
...until they took a closer look then WHAMMO!
I was not expecting that!"
