Inside the Box (Walk the Line)


Our intro to Cardboard Construction Week, was a game of 'Inside the Box' (or Walk the Line, in Montessori language). In Montessori, children are encouraged to walk the line to strengthen balance and concentration. It's also a nice way to gather everyone in one space to start the day.

We started with DIY Rhythm Sticks & Song and moved to marching with ankle bells.




The eldest of three is seeking an escape from his littlest siblings. When he goes on an imaginary adventure, he figures out that life is a little lonely without them.



This is not the first time we have borrowed 'A Pig, A Fox and a Box'.
