Pining for Prints

Print-making is one of my favourite art forms.
Breyer and ink or roller and paint work beautifully.
However, if you don't want to commit to mess, stamp pads suffice.
Results are still stunning.

Since we're currently learning about conifers, I asked that the prints reflect our theme.
Miss O opted for four stamp-sized polysterene plates, while Miss C made one, big tree!
She took special care to note it's cone shape, trunk and branches.

She also made a sweet, 'side' print of a delicate branch.

Miss O's work reflected tree's in the four seasons.

One of our picture books this week had multiple examples of print-made patterns, 'Henri's Walk to Paris'.
Not only were the illustrations super sweet, the storyline is very clever!
