This should have been a Spring theme, but the sticks are evident in this thawing winter.

What a sweet book!
In an ice storm, a little girls favourite branch breaks along with her heart!
Her neighbour offers to give it 'potential', so together they work to give it a new life.
Miss C and I discovered some hibernating Wooly Bears in the wood pile, so she started collecting bark to make them a shelter safe from predators. She even lined it with moss to keep them out of the snow!
Oddly enough, sticks never run out of uses.
This theme was an idea of mine, but coincided with everyone's sudden interest in the sticks that appeared from under the melting snow.
