Nest-Building by Beak

Nest-building has happened before around here, but never by beak-only!

We started by forming an edible nest out of square crust, before depending on our beak to fluff  and feather.

We also worked in a wee bit of math and science; measuring 6" bits of coloured yarn and documenting our colour choices to see which ones the real birds prefer for nesting materials.
