Acrylic Table Painting

Some scrap acrylic and a giant bottle of creamy hand soap turned into an hour of art play.

We added food colouring to the muffin tray of hand soap.
It looked as if it would be beautiful paint.
It was not.
But it was a gentle reminder to me that children make the most of everything!

Because the colour was quite transparent on acrylic, they tried tossing the paint like Jackson Pollock!

And applying the paint in a thick coat, so they could write messages!

Clean up was half the fun as it was a giant, suds party!
