Willow Watercolour with Viewfinder

Bringing the classroom outdoors is one of the greatest advantages of homeschooling!
There are loads of opportunity for free-learning outdoors, but it's so nice to bring our supplies for science, math or art outside. Even bringing out a book and a meal, makes for a fantastic day.

We've been watching a mallard and his wife settle onto our pond, for what we hope, is preparation for their wee to arrive. Along with our upcoming tadpole study, the pond has been a place of real interest this week.
We took the time to learn about DIY viewfinders (you can also make these with your index and thumb on both hands) to hone in on a landscape watercolour. We used Willow as the theme.
