Word Wednesday: Alphabet Anatomy

 Practice Writing

Working on anatomy, we made some puzzles of our major organs.
Level One, organs were labeled.
Level Two, organs were not.
Because I cut the brain to resemble a heart more than the heart, that was the only real confusion.

While Resident Puzzlers were busy solving organ placement, Mr. M and I played a game of "Stick that Part", in which he was more-or-less unimpressed, but humoured me for a moment before walking away.

Post puzzles, we wrote out the alphabet and brainstormed as many body parts as we could before the index came into play.

 Index Assisted Alphabet

Again, another activity where your children's abilities shock you.
Between using the index in The Human Body and their own imaginations, they completed the majority of the alphabet unassisted.
