20 Days of Play: Plasticine

Our snow activity this week happened to spill over into our works of art.
Plasticine art (as introduced to me by my dear friend at Kids Make Mess) is not only a huge hit with the wee, it's always a stunning project!

1) Start with a small area (we use wood cookies) and smooth out your background

2) For details, prepare your plasticine, before pressing it into your work.
If you want a circle, roll a tiny ball and press. If you want a thin line, roll out a snake first.

3) Add fine detail with tools. This is Miss C's specialty! She loves addding pokes with skewers.
