20 Days of Play-Felt (& Symmetry in the Sand)

Our felt ornaments started as a symmetry project: Can you create a design that is the same/mirror image on both sides?

The sketch process began to experiment with design options.

Before we began, we played Symmetry in the Sand: one person draws a line and a design on one half in kinetic sand with a chopstick. Their partner has to draw the mirror image of the design.
