Year in a Yurt!
Our celebrations today were shared with the strong wind that makes Windy Acres what it is and has rattled the walls of our yurt since the night we arrived.
We also made our own Pop Ups, inspired by my absolute favourite modern artist Pheobe Wahl's work.

NYE 2018 (Erection Day)

 Ohhh I love Carson Ellis.

All along I loved him and it turned out to be a her!

The first time I saw her work was when I read Wildwood. As it turns out, her husband wrote the book and she illustrated.

She's written too few picture books. 'Home' leaves me wanting more!!

A sweet simple text by an architect turned author.

The architect in Freedman comes out in this story.
