Vegan Bites: Aloo Tikki & Mango Ginger Smoothie

 Aloo Tikki 
(Indian Potato Cake)
Tikki's flew off the plate on Day One.
On Day Two we tweaked a little as well as doubled the batch.

Always handy to have willing potato peeler and chopper by your side.
Luckily I have three!

Mango chutney is a side option, but all were in vote of a Mango Smoothie.

Mango Smoothie with Ginger Shot 


 Aloo Tikki
~4 roughly mashed potatoes (lean on the dry/leftover side)
~1/2c chopped onion
~2 clove crushed garlic
~1/2 green chili, chopped
~1.5t salt
~1t turmeric
~1t garam masala
~1/4t ginger
~1/4t chili powder
~1t cumin seed
~1T oil
Mix well. Then stir in...
~1/2c fresh peas
~2T chopped cilantro
Form into patties. Coat with seed mix (crushed sesame + salt+ pepper).
Fry in pan and bake 425 for 20 mins.
