Lotus Prints

 Miss C's Blue Lotus Root

Lotus root grows in the muddy water beneath the beautiful lotus flower.
Both the root and seeds can be cooked and eaten.
It seemed fitting to add some Lotus Print art to our soil studies.

They can be purchased in cylindrical 'knobs' connected at top and bottom to the next root.
Miss O suggested we cut them at the meeting spots to allow a handle for the stamp.

 Mr. M's Orange Lotus Prints

Like any print, the stamp must be uniform to create a decent image.
Miss O was frustrated with her stamp, so decided to drag the root to create various effects.
