Math Monday: Frog Egg Art

Easing into the week after a long weekend, we worked on watercolour circles to represent Frogs Eggs.

Even if you are not comfortable doing artwork, watercolour circles are more meditative than daunting.
1) Load your brush with very concentrated colour
2) Make rough circles (in our case, Miss C insisted they touch each other, just like Frogs Eggs)
3) Clean your brush and water down the inside of each circle (cleaning the brush each circle)
Your concentrated colour will 'bleed' into the center
4) We added a tiny dot in the center to indicate the arrival of a tadpole.
