Coco Cola Chemistry

Mentos + Coca Cola = Dad's In!
More fun and quick chemistry to finish off our Summer Science.
We recruited Dad who has a knack for explosions!
1. Create a tube for Mento's.
2. Place a card between tube and opened coca cola bottle.
3. Remove card and run!

 
I love this shot of Miss C clapping in anticipation and Mr. M's look of concern!

My mistake.
Rather than hot glue the tube of Mento's in a row (as Dad insisted), we let them be loose leaving only a few to make it in. The 'explosion' did not reach as high as we had hoped.
Science is better when you have to work for it!
