Math Monday: Acorn Division

Math that makes sense, is pretty much our goal when working with numbers.
Money math is popular in our house, because it applies to real-world scenarios.
It's no coincidence that a math equation that is framed in a money context, is figured out five times faster than the equation without context.

We're working a little Animal Habitats and Habits theme.
We read an Oak Meadow story about 'Nut Division' complete with a little shed to represent the radical division symbol, before laying out several scenarios where squirrels share their stores.
