Observational Drawing: Leaves

Learning about leaves with 'Nature Anatomy'.
We spent some time collecting before taking a closer look at classification; Shape, Margin (edges) and Venation (vein patterns).
The kids each chose two leaves with varying shapes.
Once they sketched an outline with oil pastels, they completed bleeding tones with watercolour.
Then they had to discipher how to classify their leaves according to Shape, Margin and Venation.
