Kitten Doctor

The kids ran out the door to play in the afternoon and returned with a kitten.
Apparently, the kitten needed a doctor and a second mother.

As the nurse, I was ordered to make a bowl of warm milk.
Rice milk is not a feline favourite, but she took to leftover lentils and rice with a liking!
I refused to catch mice on her behalf. There are plenty upstairs if she wanted a go.

As she has already been followed for weeks around the farm, we were aware she was the kitten with an eye infection. Now that we had her close, we were able to give her some drops that cleared her eye up by the end of the afternoon and she was finally able to open it fully.

By evening, she ended up hopping back to her birth mother in the garden, much to the dismay of her adoptive....
