If math is made of patterns, than the Multiplication Ring is a fantastic visual! 

The concept is very simple; a ring with numbers 0-9 equally spaced that when wound with string, can show the shape of multiplication families.

(Note: Once you reach double digits, it's the last digit that counts 12=2, 15=5, 18=8 and so on...)
