Math Monday: Place Value

Stations were set-up Monday morning for some hands-on math.
It was a Stand-up Station for busy little bums that don't want to be seated while working.

The tricky bit about having your baby brother at lesson is the likelihood he will want the activity you are working on, even if he has one prepared for him.
The kids have learned to play with his activity for the three minutes it takes for him to wander back.

Or assign him a menial task that keeps him busy but out of your work space!

The great part about having all ages work together (if you can remain calm), is they learn from one another; how to complete big kids work and how to be patient with little kids.
