Mini Makers Market Prep

A friend told us about a Childrens Business Fair, so we asked the kids if they were interested.
They can be a bit reserved about strangers, but never when it comes to taking their cash!
The Fair encouraged families to introduce a Business Plan outline and basically, step away from the process.

As this is the kids 4th market, they were aware of what sells and acutely aware how that profits them!
They decided on greeting cards, bookmarks and willow wreath embroidery.
The materials needed are inexpensive and eco-friendly; paper, envelopes, paint and oil pastel, plus some fabric scraps and embroidery thread.
The willow wreaths they make themselves from fallen branches.

As part of preparations, organizers suggested the kids set up their wares at home before arriving on fair day. We went through some mock sales, though they would have gladly taken my money.

Then we largely left them to their own devices for Fair sales.
