Promoting Peace: Lego Copycat

In addition to learning about the wars, we thought it best to promote peace in our activities this week.
The first game we played involves communication and working together: Lego Copycat.
I prepared a Lego structure and hid it in another room.
One child (the Seeker) has their hands tied.  They can only use words to relay information.
The second child (the Builder) waits for information to construct a copycat structure.
The Seeker runs back and forth to the hidden structure to obtain information about how the Lego is arranged.
The Builder has a bowl of pieces (pre-selected to match) to build a copycat structure based on the Seekers instructions.

Such a simple concept, but a big win.
It involved collaboration not competition, language skills (relaying information, interpreting directions) and patience.
We stepped it up a notch after the first round, to time the team and see if they could beat themselves with each round.
