20 Days of Play: Shape (Ted Harrison Inspired Art)

Ted Harrison (one of the Group of Seven) was known for his colourful landscapes.
The kids have been all about black markers lately, so we incorporated strong lines with bold colour.
We noted how he used both warm and cool colours to make his pieces pop and compliment.
After they drew their flowing lines, they completed their art with rich oil pastels.
