Sci Fri: Lunar Phases

To finish up our Lunar New Year studies, we took a look at the phases the moon, marking a month.
First we took two circles; one painted with an intergalactic feel, the other with influence of the moon face.

Then we had to map out the phases, starting with the New Moon, which marks the Lunar New Year.
It was so tricky to get the sizes accurate, we ended up making a template to work from.
           

Afterwards, they labeled the main phases: new, crescent, quarters, gibbous and full.
