Melting Crayons Art
Slightly tricky, but very intriguing-melting crayon art.
The tricky bit, besides avoiding a burn, was keeping the oven trays warm.
Instructions and tips for success:
~Warm several cookie trays on low heat in the oven (several trays will allow you to always have warm ones on hand when the ones being used cool)
~Place a cutting board and a towel at each work station, a selection of crayons in the middle of the table
~Transfer warmed trays to cutting boards, laying the towel across the bottom to avoid contact with chest/arms. A tea towel may suffice if the tray is not overly hot.
~Place a paper on top of the tray. If you have the same size as the tray, it will aid in keeping wax crayons off of your baking supplies
