Word Wednesday: Picture Letters from Beatrix Potter

The infamous Beatrix Potter lived in the  countryside and used wildlife and plants as her muses. She kept many animals as pets for drawing. She wrote children of her friends and family 'picture letters' with little notes beside her sketches. Many of these were the beginnings of her published works.
We created our own 'picture letters' by remembering stories of wildlife around the farm.
One, of an orphaned mouse and the other a newborn fawn.
