Word Wednesday: Spiral Shape Poems
How do you write a poem?
We started by collecting the facts we knew about snails.
Does it have to rhyme?
Not at all.
Can you embellish?
Absolutely!
I have eyes, tentacles, a foot,
mucus glands, a tail and a shell.
What? I don't have a shell?
I don't have a shell!?
Oh no, I don't have a shell.
I don't want to be a slug.
Oh no.
Miss c was offered to write a shape poem too, to which she replied
"No, I don't want to write a poem. Fine.
Am I a snail? The end."
Which turned out to be a very clever poem.
