Ink Prints: Woodgrain

One of the most well-received art projects of the year was a recent lesson: Nature Ink Prints.
Though a lot can be said for introducing ink and brayer.
This round we included some woodgrain printing, along with plant samples.
Ideally, choose a piece of oddly-shaped and grainy wood, cut to show the rings.
You may wire brush to rid of excess sawdust and bring the rings to the surface.
Roll a brayer or paint roller in India Ink and cover the wood sample.
Place a paper over top and press in a circular motion for best print.
