Vegan Bites: Decadent Turtle Brownie Cake
Five Star Recipe!
With some slight modifications from 'The Mindful Hapa', this could be the best decadent dessert we've ever made and happens to be raw vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free (depending on the type of chocolate you like to use.) We omitted the nuts for a smooth dessert with bites of chocolate.

Decadent Brownie Cake
Brownie Base
~1 1/2c dates
~1/3c cocoa powder
~1/3c coconut flour
Process very well. Add...

Press base into small circle mold.
Caramel Center
~1c dates
~1/3c coconut cream (we didn't have, so we used slightly less coconut milk. You can also refridgerate coconut milk and wait for the creamiest bit to separate for use.)
~1T cocoa powder
Ganache Topping
~1/2-1c chocolate
Melt in double boiler. Add...
~1/4c coconut cream
Remove chocolate from heat ans stir in coconut cream until smooth.
Slather on the top of cake.
Garnish with chocolate square and edible flowers.
