Vegan Bites: Blueberry Lavender Shrub
Small Farm magazine had a recipe for Shrub; a mash of fruit (berries) and flowers/herbs, mixed with sugar and vinegar strained and served as a syrup. So we looked up a Blueberry Lavender version.

Blueberry Lavender Shrub
~1c blueberries
~1c cane sugar
~1T lavender flowers
Mash into 'wet sand'. Add
~1c apple cider vinegar
Refriderate for 3-4 days, shaking occasionally.
Add 1-2t to Kombucha with ice and lavender sprigs.
Shrub & Kombucha
