Wander Wednesday: Shadow Trace & Guess

Definitely not easy, but very engaging; shadow trace and guess.
We have traced shadows as art lessons in the past. The point of Trace & Guess is to see if you could sketch shadows that someone else could identify. We focused on flowers we are familiar with.

A few challenges we were faced with, included choosing shadows that would fit on our paper (for example: not the windmill!) as well as  figure out how to position our paper behind the sun and subject.

Mr. M is just beginning to show interest in joining in on our activities, so when he diverts in the assignment, we go with it! He was keen to draw frogs, even though they were far from creating shadows.
