Word Wednesday: Cookie Cutter Word Scramble

We've done several word scramble games with scrabble tiles, letter stamps and cookie cutters. The only real issue is you have to chose words that have only one of each letter (unless you buy multiple sets of stamps or cookie cutters) and this adds an extra challenge if you have more than one kid playing at a time.
Vowels are sparse, so the creator of the words has to be creative!
Offer the kids a few rounds on you and then have them select letters for one another to unscramble.
A lot of running back and forth to the big book of Narnia to look at options!

Also, the type of dough was far too sticky for these tiny alphabet shapes. We improvised by making a dough mound covered in flour. Alternately, you can use a less sticky dough and actually bake your scrambles.
