Lit Week: Little Red Hen Pizza Portraits

"Not I," said the Pig.

The Little Red Hen is a classic folktale originating in Russia.We read the story of the cat, pig and duck refusing to offer the hen help, until it was time to eat!

Then we went to make Pizza Portraits! The silly part about these, is that when you bake them, features will turn out a little wonky (apparently, there is an online group of people making Frog Bread, with that intention!) As a quick tip, I mentioned that the smaller the features pre-baking, the more proportioned they will look when they were ready to eat.

As it turns out, it's very hard to eat your own face or your art!
