Winter Landscape

 

Jumping into some winter landscape with a new set of chalk pastels. These tutorials are not really meant for the younger set, but if they want to take a go-the results are usually pretty amazing.

Similar to Jenkins, she starts with an underpainting (Miss C's sample above) to lay the groundwork for subject matter and deepen shades to come.

 

We have one little artist who loves to veer very much in her own direction. Much encouraged.
