Upcycled Denim Blue Whale
The kids claimed they were overdue for a sewing project, so we worked one into our studies: Denim Blue Whales. We also happened to have an excess of torn blue jeans, so we snipped those up for the pattern and used the scrap as stuffing. We found the tail and fins too tiny to flip inside-out, so we went with a rustic look and sewed the raw edges.
