Watershed Walk

 

Our next step was to look at the smaller sources of water that feed into the river near our house. We took a watershed walk (conveniently after a recent rain) to take a close look at where water pools and flows.

Through farm fields...

We noted how water travels the path of least resistance and also pools in low places, flowing downwards in the direction of the larger source.

 

Our last stop was the waterfall bridge where we look for the biggest rocks to plunk to the depths.
