Quartz & Agate Art

 

Painting gemstones is a lovely minerology lesson, but doubles as math art, as they include plenty of patterns and geometry. Miss O chose a pattern piece of agate, while Miss C chose a perfectly sliced pyramid of rose quartz.

 We included two tutorials for a look at how to use concentrated and watered down watercolour, as well as leave white space for light accents.
