Word Wednesday: Copper Cursive

 

After warming up with some cursive exercises and form drawing, the kids wrote their names in cursive to complete in copper wire. If you have pipe cleaners, those are a colourful, bendable version, but we happen to have copper and beads on hand.

 We then used our 2x2 wooden cubes with small holes drilled on each face, to balance our name sculptures. For the littlest ones, using beads and wire for sculpture-making and balance is a great STEM project.
