kOur third summer read is a bit of a cheat since we finished Swiss Family in May, but it is chock full of amazing potential projects, we added it to our summer reading list.
For Week One of Swiss Family, our focus has been Plants.
Post It Project
'Using the paper and squares provided, develop inks or natural dyes based on the following plants: marigold, clay, berries, onion peel, beetroot, charcoal, coffee, sumac, grass and calendula. Beside each sample, describe your method for obtaining the colour.'
